Brynteg barn has one en suite bedroom with a private lounge and terrace exclusively for guests. There is a flat screen TV with SKY freeview, DVD player and WiFi and there is a wood burner for colder evenings. The accommodation is completely self-contained and separate from our house.
Please be advised that our accommodation is a bed and breakfast facility and is not intended to be used as a self catering unit.
We serve a continental breakfast, which includes yogurt muesli, granola, fruit and eggs. There is also homemade bread and hot pastries brought to your door each morning. Jams and preserves are also homemade or locally sourced. There is a Lavazza coffee machine and a selection of English and herbal teas. Guests have a fridge, kettle and toaster for their own use.
We offer a variety of evening meals (including a vegetarian and vegan option) at an additional cost which can be booked in advance. Please contact us for more details.
Here at Bryntegbarn our philosophy is to grow and make as much of our own food as possible. We have a poly tunnel which produces the majority of our vegetable and salad ingredients throughout the summer months. Other food and supplies are purchased, as much as possible, from local independent retailers.
The barn is situated in a rural location, approximately 11km north of Barmouth and 8km south of Harlech. It has spectacular views of Cardigan bay and the Lleyn Peninsula. There are numerous walks in all directions that can be taken directly from the barn including a thirty minute walk to Dyffryn's beautiful sandy beach. The barn was converted using sustainable materials. The building has reclaimed wooden floors and a slated roof and is insulated with lambs wool.
We offer a two course set evening meal (vegetarian and vegan options available) priced from £20.00 to £25.00 per person.
Meals are homemade using our own and locally sourced produce and is served at your time of choice between 6.00 and 7.00pm.
